Komil Allamjonov appointed as independent advisor to Head of the Presidential Administration Saida Mirziyoyeva

Komil Allamjonov has been appointed as an independent advisor to Saida Mirziyoyeva, the newly appointed Head of the President's Administration. In this role, he will provide expertise and support in developing an innovative economy, attracting investments, ensuring freedom of speech, and supporting independent media.

Earlier, it was reported that Saida Mirziyoyeva had been appointed as Head of the President's Administration.

Komil Allamjonov was born in 1984 in Tashkent. He graduated from the Uzbekistan State Institute of Arts and Culture in 2006 and from the Tashkent State University of Economics in 2010. 

In December 2017, Allamjonov was appointed Head of the President's Press Service. In November 2018, he became Head of the Press and Information Agency of Uzbekistan, which was reorganized in February 2019 into Agency for Information and Mass Communications under the Presidential Administration.

In January 2020, he became Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Public Foundation for the Support and Development of Mass Media. In July 2022, he was appointed Deputy Head of the Presidential Administration.

He served as Head of the Information Policy Department within the Presidential Administration from August 2023 until 2024.

Last year, he was relieved of this position, and announced that he would return to the private sector.
