Saida Mirziyoyeva appointed Head of Uzbekistan’s reorganized Presidential Administration
Saida Mirziyoyeva has been appointed as the Head of the Presidential Administration of Uzbekistan, a newly established position created as part of a structural reform within the administration. The appointment was formalized by a presidential decree and announced by the presidential press service.

Saida Mirziyoyeva has been serving as Assistant to the President since August 25, 2023 — a role she assumed following the abolition of the previous post in the administration.
Born in 1984 in the city of Kokand, Fergana region, Saida Mirziyoyeva is an alumna of the University of World Economy and Diplomacy. She also holds master's degrees from the Tashkent State University of Law and Moscow State University named after M.V. Lomonosov. In addition, she holds a PhD in Economics.
Mirziyoyeva’s career in public service has spanned several key positions. From 2019 to 2020, she served as Deputy Director of the Agency for Information and Mass Communications under the Presidential Administration. Between 2020 and 2022, she was Deputy Chair of the Board of Trustees at the Public Fund for the Support and Development of National Mass Media.
In November 2022, she was appointed Head of the Department for Communications and Information Policy within the Executive Office of the Presidential Administration, a post that placed her at the center of the government's media and information strategy.
The Presidential Administration of Uzbekistan was originally established on August 26, 2018. It was previously led by Zaynilobiddin Nizomiddinov from 2018 to 2022, followed by Sardor Umurzakov from 2022 to 2023.
