Uzbekistan appoints its first ambassador to Bosnia and Herzegovina
Bakhtiyor Ibragimov, who also serves as ambassador to Austria, Albania, and Slovakia, has presented his credentials to the Chairwoman of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Bakhtiyor Ibragimov, Uzbekistanās first ambassador to Bosnia and Herzegovina with residence in Vienna, presented his credentials to Željka CvijanoviÄ, Chairwoman of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina, according to the Dunyo news agency.
Following the formal ceremony held at the Presidency building, the two sides held talks focused on prospects for enhancing bilateral relations between Uzbekistan and Bosnia and Herzegovina. Particular emphasis was placed on expanding cooperation in trade, the economy, culture, and tourism.
Chairwoman CvijanoviÄ praised the wide-ranging reforms implemented in Uzbekistan in recent years under the leadership of President Shavkat Mirziyoyev and highlighted the tangible results achieved.
Both sides expressed their readiness to elevate relations to a qualitatively new level.
It should be noted that Bakhtiyor Ibragimov is also accredited as Uzbekistanās Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Austria, Albania, and Slovakia. In addition, he serves as the countryās official representative to several international organizations based in Vienna, including the OSCE, UNODC, CTBTO, IAEA, and other UN agencies.
