This event plays a significant role in developing tourism, attracting investment projects, and strengthening international cooperation.

At the fair, agreements were reached to promote Namangan's rich historical and cultural heritage, disseminate information on global media platforms about the 3,000-year-old Ahsikent archaeological site and the 64th International Flower Festival, as well as to attract foreign investment, Dunyo news agency reported.

As part of the fair, the Namangan delegation met with international tourism media partners, including executives from BBC Global Media, Meso, and representatives and bloggers from British platforms The Wondering Englishman, Traveldave.co.uk, and the Kazakh company Welcome.

"I will prepare a full analytical report on Ahsikent. This city is remarkable not only for its ancient culture but also for its modern development potential," said British blogger Alex van Terheyden, sharing his impressions of the site.

A meeting also took place between the Seychelles Minister for Foreign Affairs and Tourism, Louis Sylvestre Radegonde, and the Director of the Namangan Archaeological Museum "Ahsikent," Anvar Ikrom. Discussions focused on tourism, textile exports, and investment cooperation.

"I hold Namangan in special regard. During my visit in 2023, we reached initial agreements on cooperation. Now it is time to put them into practice," stated Minister Radegonde.

The discussions also explored exporting Namangan's textile products to 700 hotels and 2,000 guesthouses in the Seychelles, as well as attracting tourists from the island nation to the 64th International Flower Festival. The minister announced his official visit to the region in May 2025 with an official delegation.

Additionally, Dalia Altuntepe, Uzbekistan's tourism representative in Germany and head of the Nüma agency, was appointed Namangan's official tourism ambassador. A memorandum of cooperation was also signed between Nüma and Ziyarah Travel.

The ITB Berlin 2024 fair proved highly productive for the Namangan delegation. This visit marked a significant step in strengthening the region’s international tourism potential, attracting foreign investment, and stimulating regional economic growth.
