According to the Prosecutor General’s Office, Dilmurod Kosimov has been appointed by a presidential decree. Before this role, he served as the Business Ombudsman, advocating for the rights and legal interests of entrepreneurs. He has also held various high-ranking positions within the prosecution system, including serving as the First Deputy Prosecutor of Samarkand region until 2017.

Meanwhile, Azamat Mirzayev has been named the new Prosecutor of Tashkent region. His appointment comes after the position remained vacant for the past six months, with First Deputy Prosecutor Abdukahhor Mullajonov temporarily handling the duties. Prior to this role, Mirzayev served as the Prosecutor of Navoiy region since November 2023.

The Tashkent regional prosecutor’s post had been vacant since September 2024, following the transfer of former prosecutor Sirojiddin Eshkuvvatov to a leadership role in the Construction and Housing Utilities Inspection Agency.
