Throughout the year, the committee received approximately 240 complaints related to poor passenger service.

"As a result of investigations into these complaints, recalculations were made in favor of consumers, amounting to around 220 million UZS," the statement said.

Notably, many complaints stemmed from delays of several hours, during which passengers were not provided with rest areas, clean drinking water, or food.

In particular, a citizen, S.T., purchased an electronic ticket for flight HY-93 on the "Tashkent-Namangan" route, scheduled for November 24, 2024, at 07:20. However, upon arriving at the airport at 06:00 on the day of the flight, they were left waiting in the lounge for 5 hours. During this time, the airline failed to provide a rest area, food, or clean drinking water for the passengers, which resulted in their dissatisfaction, as reported by the committee.

There were also cases where passengers canceled their tickets due to prolonged delays. Following the committee’s review, all affected passengers were refunded the full cost of their tickets.
