Uzbekistan’s secondary car market experienced a sales decline in December

Compared to November, prices for both frequently and moderately used popular domestic cars decreased, while prices for slightly used vehicles remained relatively stable. Specifically:

-  Onix: Moderately used – decreased by 3.6% (from $14,000 to $13,500), frequently used – decreased by 4.4% (from $13,600 to $13,000);

-  Lacetti: Frequently used – decreased by 1.3% (from $13,500 to $13,327);

-  Cobalt: Moderately used – decreased by 1.6% (from $12,500 to $12,300), frequently used – decreased by 0.8% (from $11,800 to $11,700);

-  Nexia: Moderately used – decreased by 0.9% (from $11,500 to $11,400);

-  Spark: Moderately used – decreased by 1% (from $10,400 to $10,300), frequently used – decreased by 0.5% (from $9,346 to $9,300);

-  Damas: Moderately used – decreased by 1.2% (from $8,100 to $8,000), frequently used – decreased by 1% (from $7,503 to $7,300).

During this period, prices for Malibu and Tracker vehicles also decreased, while there was a slight increase in the price of Equinox.

New electric cars, such as the BYD E2 ($17,100) and Song Plus EV Champion ($28,500), became cheaper by 1.7%, while the BYD Han ($32,500) and Yuan Up ($21,000) saw price reductions of 1.2% and 1.9%, respectively.

Among moderately used electric cars, the average prices of the BYD E2 ($15,970) and Han ($34,500) dropped by 0.8% and 4.2%, respectively. Meanwhile, no price changes were observed for the BYD Song Plus EV Champion ($26,600) and Yuan Up ($20,500).

For frequently used electric cars:

-  The BYD E2 ($15,250), Han ($31,750), and Song Plus EV Champion ($24,050) saw average price increases of 3%, 1.8%, and 5.3%, respectively;

-  The average prices for Chevrolet Monza and Kia Sportage decreased, while price increases were observed for Kia K5, Seltos, and Hyundai Tucson.
