The figure represents more than a twofold increase compared to the same period in 2023.
According to Uzbekistan Airports, the country’s international airports carried out a total of 82,600 flights during the first nine months of the year. Of these, 24,900 were domestic flights, while 57,700 were international.
In addition to the rise in passenger traffic, the third quarter saw the handling of over 62,000 tons of cargo and mail, indicating growth in both passenger and cargo transportation sectors.
