Uzbekistan takes over chairmanship of the CIS Space Council for 2024-2025
The head of "Uzbekcosmos," Shukhrat Kadirov, has taken over the chairmanship of the CIS Interstate Space Council for the 2024-2025 period.

In accordance with regulatory documents, the chairmanship of the council is held by each CIS country in turn, following alphabetical order. In 2023-2024, this role was performed by Tajikistan.
The head of "Uzbekcosmos" emphasized that the council faces ambitious tasks in the coming years, including the development of space activities, the coordination of efforts within the framework of the UN, and the deepening of cooperation in space technologies.
