Webster University in Tashkent opens admission process for Fall 2019 undergraduate and graduate programs

In partnership with the Ministry of Higher and Secondary Specialized Education, Webster University provides state-of-the-art facilities to deliver undergraduate and graduate programs that align Uzbekistan’s plan for development of its economy.
According to the Telegram channel of the Ministry, Webster University’s new campus in Tashkent is currently being reconstructed.
For Fall 2019, the University is offering internationally recognized American undergraduate and graduate degrees in such areas as BSc and MBA in Business Administration, BA and MA in Media Communication and MA in TESL.
Admission requirements for undergraduate degree are as follows:
- IELTS certificate minimum 6.0 or TOEFL certificate iBT 80
- High school/Lyceum/College Diploma and Transcript with a minimum GPA 2.5
- One letter of recommendation from a teacher or counselor
- Essay (Topic of your choice – 300-500 words)
- Copy of passport
It is noted that for Fall 2019 undergraduate degrees, the university is also accepting applications from prospective students who got IELTS 5.5/TOEFL iBT 70, but they will have additional English as a Second Language (ESL) courses during the first year of the studies.
Admission requirements for graduate degree are as follows:
- An accredited degree with a GPA of 2.5 and above
- IELTS 6.5 / TOEFL iBT 80
- Letter of Recommendation
- Curriculum Vitae
- Copy of Passport
