Academic transfer applications open – new score thresholds announced

According to an official order issued by the Minister of Higher Education, Science and Innovation, the minimum required scores for the special transfer exams for the 2025/2026 academic year have been approved. These exams are intended for students who wish to transfer from foreign or non-state higher education institutions to state universities in Uzbekistan.

The highest minimum score has been established for the field of law, at 165 points. The next highest threshold is for those seeking to transfer into the healthcare field, where applicants must score at least 129 points.

As in previous years, these thresholds have been determined based on recommendations from relevant ministries and agencies that oversee higher education institutions within their structure.

A reminder: applications for academic transfers opened today, July 15, and will be accepted through August 5, 2025 (inclusive).
