Shavkat Mirziyoyev departs for Azerbaijan
At the invitation of Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev, President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev departed for Azerbaijan on July 2 for a state visit.

According to the official agenda, the visit will include the second session of the Supreme Interstate Council in Baku, as well as other high-level events. The discussions will focus on further strengthening the ties of friendship, strategic partnership, and alliance between Uzbekistan and Azerbaijan.
The President of Uzbekistan will also take part in the upcoming summit of the Economic Cooperation Organization, which will be held in the city of Khankendi.
