Competition Committee files charges against four bloggers for promoting gambling services
An investigation into advertising content on social media has revealed violations of national legislation.

The Committee for the Development of Competition and Protection of Consumer Rights has identified instances where bloggers promoted betting services on their social media platforms.
In particular, it was established that the following bloggers uploaded videos featuring the betting brand Melbet and staged scenes encouraging gambling:
- Jasurbek Gulomjon ugli Shodiev (jasjannew)
- Dadabek Bahrom ugli Normamatov (allme.uz)
- Sherkhon Lutfullo ugli Rakhmatov (sherxon.zdss)
- Khodjiakbar Zulkhaydar ugli Khasanboev (hojiakbar_ku)
Based on these findings, the relevant documentation has been prepared and submitted to the court for legal action against the above-mentioned individuals.
It should be noted that, under the Law on Advertising of Uzbekistan, the promotion of gambling activities based on risk is strictly prohibited in the country. Any such advertising is subject to legal liability.
