Public transport in Tashkent to start operating at 03:00 on Eid al-Adha
The decision was made to ensure convenience for citizens planning to attend Eid prayers using public transport.

The Tashkent City Department for Transport and Road Infrastructure Development has announced that public transport in the capital will begin operating at 03:00 on Eid al-Adha.
“On Friday, June 6, in connection with Eid al-Adha and to provide greater convenience for citizens, bus routes and the metro system in Tashkent will start running from 03:00,” the statement said.
This decision aims to facilitate transportation for those intending to attend Eid prayers via public transit.
Earlier, the Muslim Board of Uzbekistan had announced the prayer times for Eid al-Adha. According to the schedule, Eid prayers in Tashkent's central mosques will begin at 05:10 in the morning.
According to a presidential decree, in order to ensure favorable conditions for the public to celebrate Eid al-Adha, Saturday, June 7, has been designated an additional day off for employees working under a six-day work week schedule.
