Shavkat Mirziyoyev expresses condolences to Indian leadership over Kashmir terror attack
President Shavkat Mirziyoyev has extended his heartfelt condolences to the President of India, Droupadi Murmu, and Prime Minister Narendra Modi following a deadly terrorist attack in the Kashmir region that claimed numerous lives and left many injured.

According to the statement released by the presidential press service, Shavkat Mirziyoyev conveyed his deep sympathy to the families and loved ones of the victims, as well as to the entire people of India. He also wished a swift recovery to those who were injured.
The tragic incident occurred on April 22 in the northern Indian state of Jammu and Kashmir, where an armed attack resulted in the deaths of at least 25 tourists. The shooting took place in the city of Pahalgam, where unidentified assailants opened fire on a group of tourists walking along a trail in the Baisaran Valley. Local authorities have classified the incident as a terrorist attack.
