Shavkat Mirziyoyev to participate in May 9 celebrations in Moscow
President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev will travel to Moscow on May 9 to participate in celebrations marking the 80th anniversary of the Victory in World War II. The announcement was made by the president's press secretary Sherzod Asadov on the sidelines of the Inter-Parliamentary Union Assembly held in Tashkent.

The commemorative events are expected to be attended by other leaders from Central Asia, including:
• Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, President of Kazakhstan,
• Sadyr Japarov, President of Kyrgyzstan,
• Emomali Rahmon, President of Tajikistan.
Additionally, President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov and the country’s National Leader Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov have also been invited.
