Uzinfocom announces blockchain hackathon for 30th anniversary of .UZ domain

Uzinfocom has announced Blockchain Hackathon 2025, a competition dedicated to decentralized systems and blockchain technologies, marking the 30th anniversary of the national .UZ domain, with a 100 million UZS prize pool.

The unified integrator invites developers, blockchain specialists, and IT enthusiasts to participate, either individually or in teams, for a chance to win a share of the prize.

Participants will be tasked with developing a prototype of a decentralized application using blockchain technology within 10 hours. The creators of the best projects will receive awards and opportunities for further product development.

The prize pool of the event is as follows:

1st place – 50 million UZS
2nd place – 30 million UZS
3rd place – 20 million UZS

The hackathon will take place on April 27-28 at the Congress Hall of the Ministry of Digital Development. Both individual participants and teams of up to five people are eligible to compete.

Registration for the hackathon is available on the Token.uz project website and must be completed no later than April 10.

The national blockchain network Token.uz launched in January 2024. According to the National Agency for Perspective Projects (NAPP), it has processed 412,800 transactions, totaling 0.52 gigabytes, in less than a year. The project has generated a profit of 428.5 million UZS.
