Joint Uzbek-German school to be established in Karshi
A delegation from the Kashkadarya region visited Germany from February 17–22 to strengthen interregional cooperation across various sectors, including education, healthcare, migration, and other key areas.

During the trip, important meetings were held with leading German companies such as "Ernst Klett AG," "Günter Papenburg AG," "SIT International GmbH," "Dr. Holldorf Consult GmbH," "GFM Group," and "Avestos GmbH."
Discussions focused on building cooperation in vocational education and labor migration, with an emphasis on training young people in dual education programs within these companies. Additionally, the meetings explored opportunities to help young graduates secure employment in high-demand professions in the German labor market, such as welding, electrical installation, and construction.
In the field of education, agreements were reached to expand cooperation, particularly through the construction of a modern kindergarten in Karshi and the establishment of a joint Uzbek-German school.
Furthermore, the delegation discussed strengthening the exchange of expertise among healthcare professionals, introducing German standards in Kashkadarya region hospitals, promoting cultural exchange, and organizing German language courses and joint events.
During the visit, the delegation members toured educational centers and medical clinics, gaining insights into the educational processes and facilities.
The meetings held during the visit underscored Germany's interest in strengthening cooperation with Uzbekistan. The agreements reached are expected to contribute to the region's socio-economic development, paving the way for initiatives ranging from the establishment of modern kindergartens to job creation efforts.
