Law enforcement efforts reduce crime in Tashkent by 43%
The Main Department of Internal Affairs (MDIA) of Tashkent has reported on a month-long comprehensive operational and preventive campaign, Safe and Healthy City, conducted from January 15 to February 15.

Organized in collaboration with the State Security Service, the Prosecutor's Office, and the National Guard, the initiative aimed to enhance public safety and reduce crime, according to the MDIA press service.
As a result of these efforts, law enforcement successfully reduced the overall crime rate by 43%. Notably, fraud cases dropped by 72%, robberies by 47%, and thefts by 46.5%.
Additionally, authorities recorded 102,404 traffic violations over the past month, including 366 instances of driving under the influence of alcohol.
