Bakhtiyor Saidov holds talks with U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio
Uzbekistan’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Bakhtiyor Saidov, held a phone conversation with U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio, during which both sides agreed to strengthen cooperation and expand the strategic partnership between the two countries across various sectors.

"Today, I had a sincere and productive phone conversation with U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio. We discussed key issues in bilateral and multilateral relations. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan and the U.S. Department of State agreed to continue close cooperation in expanding the strategic partnership between our countries in all areas. Strengthening bridges between business circles, increasing trade turnover in both directions, and ensuring prosperous development in Central Asia and beyond were key items on our agenda," wrote Bakhtiyor Saidov.
This was Bakhtiyor Saidov’s first conversation with the newly appointed U.S. Secretary of State, Marco Rubio.
