Uzbekistan and Kuwait sign key agreements on Industry, tourism, and healthcare
At the conclusion of talks held in Kuwait City, the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev and the Emir of Kuwait Sheikh Mishaal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah issued a joint statement on developing comprehensive Uzbekistan-Kuwait partnership relations.

During the discussions, agreements were reached to establish such mechanisms as an Investment Platform and a Business Council, as well as to open a trade house in Kuwait City. Special attention was paid to expanding the project portfolio with the Kuwait Arab Economic Development Fund within the framework of the new Partnership Program.
Additionally, the sides agreed to organize cultural and tourism weeks, support active participation in cultural and humanitarian events in fields such as art, music, cinema, education, and sports, and facilitate collaboration between representatives of both countries in these sectors.
The parties signed the following agreements at the conclusion of the meeting:
- Agreement on cooperation in the industrial sector;
- Memorandum on air transportation agreements;
- Agreement on cooperation in the labor sector;
- Agreement on cooperation in building “smart” cities;
- Agreement on cooperation in the arts and culture sectors;
- Agreement on cooperation in the healthcare sector;
- Program of measures for the tourism sector for the years 2025-2027;
- Agreement on cooperation with the Kuwait Arab Economic Development Fund.
