Alisher Kodirov criticizes Ministry of Energy's performance
During a recent meeting of the National Revival (Milliy Tiklanish) party, Alisher Kodirov raised concerns about the Ministry of Energy, particularly its handling of information policy. He emphasized that complaints and misunderstandings about energy issues have become so widespread that both experts and people with little to no knowledge of the subject are now criticizing it on social media.

According to Kodirov, the primary cause of this is the Ministry of Energy’s ineffective approach to communication and information management.
"Who will explain to the public that 75% of electricity is currently generated by burning gas? Who will address the issues within the energy grid, the steps being taken to develop green energy, and the scale of ongoing projects?" he asked.
It’s worth recalling that in late January, Alisher Kodirov urged the people of Uzbekistan to stop using gas for heating their homes and to switch to electricity instead. He argued that one cubic meter of gas could be used to produce around ten types of high-value export products. These products could then be sold abroad, with the proceeds being reinvested to create millions of jobs for fellow citizens.
