Two more airlines approved for regular flights to Uzbekistan

Egyptian carrier Red Sea Airlines and South Korean budget airline T’way Air have been granted approval to launch regular flights to Tashkent, according to the Uzaviation Agency.

In accordance with the intergovernmental air services agreement between the two countries, the agency granted permission on February 4 to operate regular flights on the Sharm El-Sheikh – Tashkent – Sharm El-Sheikh route. The flights will be operated using Boeing 737 aircraft.

Additionally, South Korean budget carrier T’way Air has been granted permission to operate regular flights to Uzbekistan.

Based on the intergovernmental air services agreement between the two countries, the agency granted approval on February 3 to operate regular flights on the Seoul – Tashkent – Seoul route. These flights will be operated using Airbus A330 aircraft.

Earlier, it was reported that the Uzaviation Agency granted AirAsia X Berhad approval to operate regular flights on the Kuala Lumpur–Tashkent–Kuala Lumpur route under the intergovernmental air services agreement between Uzbekistan and Malaysia.
