Uzbekistan introduces measures for safer equity participation in real estate
A presidential decree has been adopted on "Measures to Improve the Mechanisms for Regulating the Construction of Residential and Non-Residential Buildings Based on Equity Participation."

Under the decree, the following actions will be implemented as part of the "Single Life Cycle of Residential Buildings" principle:
• Ensuring the protection of the rights of individuals and legal entities in the construction process of both residential and non-residential buildings based on equity participation.
• Organizing residential construction with the efficient (intensive) use of available land resources.
• Reducing the timeline for the implementation of investment projects in the housing sector.
• Creating reliable and effective opportunities for purchasing residential properties through equity participation and mortgage financing.
• Promoting the widespread use of energy-efficient building materials in residential construction.
