Saidazim Gulyamov appointed Acting Director General of UzAuto Motors Powertrain

Saidazim Gulyamov, who previously led the company for several years before Bo Andersson's appointment, has been named Acting Director General of UzAuto Motors Powertrain, according to the Unified Corporate Information Portal.

Gulyamov, who had been serving as the company’s Managing Director, was appointed to the role following a decision by the company’s shareholder at a meeting on December 26.

He will serve as Acting Head of the company until a new leader is appointed. A decision on this matter is expected by June 30, 2025. Until then, Gulyamov will have all the rights and responsibilities of the General Director.

The previous head of UzAuto Motors and UzAuto Motors Powertrain, Bo Andersson, stepped down from his roles on December 27 after serving for 3 years and 4 months. According to the announcement, his resignation was a "mutual agreement" between the parties.

Saidazim Gulyamov previously led UzAuto Motors Powertrain from 2016 until Andersson’s appointment. In total, he has worked at the company for nearly 15 years, starting in April 2010. Prior to this, he spent nine months at GM Uzbekistan and eight years at the American Regions Bank.
