Uzbekistan appoints new ambassadors to Czechia and Slovenia
Uzbekistan's new ambassadors to Czechia and Slovenia, Dilshod Akhatov and Oybek Shakhavdinov, have presented their credentials to the respective presidents of the two countries.

On December 13, Dilshod Akhatov, Uzbekistan's Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary with residence in Berlin, presented his credentials to Czech President Petr Pavel. Akhatov has also been serving as Uzbekistan's non-resident ambassador to Switzerland and Czechia.
Similarly, on December 14, Oybek Shakhavdinov, Uzbekistan's Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary with residence in Budapest, presented his credentials to Slovenian President Nataša Pirc Musar. Shakhavdinov is also Uzbekistan's ambassador to Hungary and serves as a non-resident ambassador to Croatia, Montenegro, and Slovenia.
The appointments signify Uzbekistan's ongoing efforts to strengthen diplomatic ties and enhance bilateral cooperation with European nations.
