Uzbekistan produces over 260,000 cars in eight months, with Cobalt leading the pack

Uzbekistan’s automotive industry manufactured a total of 260,191 passenger vehicles during the first eight months of 2024, according to preliminary data from the Statistics Agency.
Among the vehicles produced, the highest output was of the Cobalt model, with 102,052 units, while the lowest production was of the Haval, with only 1,390 units.
The breakdown of passenger vehicle production from January to August 2024 is as follows:
- Cobalt – 102,052 units
- Damas – 59,545 units
- Tracker – 27,454 units
- Onix – 21,607 units
- Lacetti-Gentra – 12,837 units
- KIA – 12,795 units
- Chery – 5,190 units
- Haval – 1,390 units
- Specialized Light Vehicles – 17,321 units
