Akbar Juraev secures silver medal at Paris Olympics in weightlifting
Akbar Juraev won a silver medal in weightlifting at the Paris Olympics. He lifted a total of 404 kg, with 185 kg in the snatch and 219 kg in the clean and jerk, securing second place.

The Uzbek weightlifter competed in the 105 kg weight category at the Paris Olympics and finished in second place.
Juraev lifted 185 kg in the snatch and 219 kg in the clean and jerk, with a total of 404 kg in both exercises.
This marks the first silver medal for the Uzbekistan sports delegation at the Paris Olympic Games.
Chinese Liu Huanhua secured gold with 406 kg in total.
