Market catches fire in Khorezm region

In the Khazarasp district (Khorezm region), a fire occurred at night in the market, no one was injured, the press service of the regional emergency situations department reported.

It is noted that on June 18 at 02:30 a.m. the regional Emergency Situations Department received a report of a fire on the territory of JSC Khazarasp Universal Savdo Complex in the Bogdor mahalla.

Firefighters completely extinguished the fire at 04:04. As a result of the fire, shops on an area of 300 square meters burned down.

“The cause of the fire and the extent of material damage are being established. No casualties were reported as a result of the incident,” the statement said.

Earlier, Kun.uz reported that a fire broke out near the Sergeli car market in Tashkent. The fire burned dry grass in an open field and damaged an inoperable truck.
