Uzbekistan’s tourism and investment potential presented in Nagoya
The Embassy of our country in Japan, together with the mayor’s office of Nagoya, held the event “Investment and tourism potential of Uzbekistan”.

The event was attended by the director of the international cooperation department of the mayor’s office, Makio Yamada, the honorary consul of Uzbekistan in Nagoya, Hiroyuki Ito, and representatives of Asiana Airlines.
During the event, it was emphasized that the visit of President Shavkat Mirziyoyev to Nagoya in 2019 created the basis for the development of cooperation between the regions of the two countries, and Uzbekistan, located at the crossroads of the Silk Road, is of great interest among the Japanese public.
At the event, Honorary Consul Hiroyuki Ito spoke about the opportunities created for foreign investors in Uzbekistan and said that thanks to the current stable economic and political situation, confidence in the country as a reliable economic and cultural partner is increasing.
During the event, projects were presented and information was provided on projects currently being implemented in our country through direct Japanese investment.
The diplomat was also informed about the development of new tourist destinations and “tourist content”, the implementation of projects in the field of tourism, and the creation of facilities for foreign tourists.
The representative office of the South Korean airline Asiana Airlines in Nagoya presented the possibilities of communication between Uzbekistan and Japan through South Korea.
