UzNed: Uzbekistan offers tourists a unique opportunity to get acquainted with its rich heritage and traditions

The author notes that cultural tourism in Uzbekistan offers a unique opportunity to get acquainted with the rich heritage and traditions of the country, be it walking through ancient cities, visiting museums or learning traditional crafts.
Katta Langar is reported to be a unique place in Uzbekistan, offering a combination of historical and cultural experiences. According to information, there is a village Friday mosque built here at the end of the 15th century.
The publication also mentions the village of Gelon in the Surkhandarya region of Uzbekistan, offering an authentic rural tourism experience. “Visitors to Gelon can immerse themselves in the local culture and way of life, including traditional farming methods, crafts and cuisine,” the author writes.
“Another place where you can plunge into the everyday life of Uzbekistan and take part in the preparation of traditional dishes is the village of Tersak. The cuisine here is known for its chili peppers and herbs, and dishes are often cooked over wood,” the author of the UzNed website concludes.
