AvtoVAZ plans to assemble updated Lada Vesta in Uzbekistan
The AvtoVAZ company may organize the assembly of a new generation Lada Vesta car in Uzbekistan, the company’s president Maxim Sokolov said during the international industrial exhibition “Innoprom. Central Asia”.

“Together with our partner, we are actively considering the nearest plans to restore the assembly of our cars. Moreover, it will be a flagship model – a new generation Lada Vesta,” he said.
According to him, in the future, the company intends to deepen the degree of localization of car assembly in Uzbekistan.
“In particular, we are already negotiating the welding and painting issues with our partners,” he explained.
In September 2021, AvtoVAZ began serial assembly of Lada cars together with the Uzbek company Roodell at the ADM Jissakh plant located in the “Jizzakh” FEZ. Production was later suspended.
