Culture Minister Ozodbek Nazarbekov becomes rector of the National Institute of Musical Art

Uzbekistan’s Minister of Culture Ozodbek Nazarbekov has been appointed rector of the newly established National Institute of Musical Art named after Yunus Rajabi, the ministerial press service reported.
It should be noted that Nazarbekov served as Deputy Minister of Culture from 2017 to 2020, and in January 2020 he was appointed the Minister of Culture.
Ozodbek Nazarbekov, born on May 7, 1974, is a People’s Artist of Uzbekistan.
Earlier, in an interview with Kun.uz, Nazarbekov spoke about the forgotten musical education and assistance to blind children.
